Pumpkin sago

Do you like pumpkin? I do! Pumpkin is good to us as it provides many nutrients to us and more important it helps to keep fit.. :)
Today i would like share a pumpkin recipe.. PUMPKIN SAGO~

Ingredients : Rock candy(depends on you), sago(2 rice bowls), pumpkin(1/2), evaporated milk(300ml), coconut milk(1/2 rice bowl), water

Steps:
1. Boil 5 bowl of water, wait after water boiled, put in the pumpkin, and continue to boil until it become it melted into the boiled water.

2. On the other hand, prepare a sieve, and the sago into the sieve, drain and rinse. As the sago might contains a large amount of the powder, and preferably washed several times. (This step might need more patience and determination) :)
3. Cook another pot of boiling water, wait after the water boiled, put all the well washed sago into the boiling water and cook over medium heat. Must keep on stirring the sago if not the sago will stick together. Normally 2 bowls of sago take 20 minute to cook however it is not so accurate to measure in time, in fact, it suppose to see the sago transparency. See if the sago boiled until become transparent, that's consider cook completely. (Note: Sago do not take too long to cook, if not the sago will become "Porridge")
4. Next, topple boiled transparent sago into sieve, drain and rinse with cold water, you may wash it with your hand so that the sago powder glue can be washed away easily. You need to rinse and wash the sago until it becomes non-sticky, clear and transparent enough.
5. Then, check and see whether the pumpkin is melted or not. If it does, you can pour in the evaporated milk, coconut milk, rock sugar and well-cooked sago. Boil with high fire and don't forget to keep stirring the pumpkin mixture. After it is boiled and well mixed, then you may turn to low fire and continue to cook until the rock candy is completely dissolve in the mixture and you can off the fire.
6. Now you can enjoy delicious pumpkin sago with your loved one either served in hot or chilled.

I'm sure you will love this dessert after your first try on it! It's really tasty, nutritious and light.
